Fee and hours
How much does the Düden Waterfall cost?
The honest answer: we could not verify it. There is no 2026 price for Upper Düden in any official record we could reach. The guides on the first page of search quote between 20 and 100 lira and not one of them says where the number came from. Lower Düden is free.
Where we looked, and what we found
- The DÖSİM list of museum and site admission prices. The page did not load; the server returned 404.
- The Düden page of the Antalya Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism. The page exists but carries no price.
- The guides ranking first in search. They give figures and no justification. They are in the table below.
So there is no officially published, dated, reachable tariff to point at. That is exactly why everybody writes a different number.
Who claims what
| Source | Full | Student | Parking | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| gezilmesigerekenyerler.com | 100 TL | 50 TL | 100 TL | none |
| gezipass.com | 20 TL | 10 TL | yes, no amount given | none |
Both say “2026” on the page. There is a factor of five between them. Neither carries an update date. Last checked: 6 August 2026.
The one thing that is certain
Lower Düden is free. You watch it from the viewing area on top of the cliff and there is no turnstile. The fee question only applies to Upper Düden, which is where the turnstiles are.
So if your budget is tight, or you would rather not set off without knowing the price, Lower Düden is open and free in every case.
The other thing worth checking before you go is the water itself: the flow drops eighteenfold between January and September.
Frequently asked questions
How much is the entrance fee for the Düden Waterfall?
We could not find a verified 2026 price for Upper Düden. The guides ranking on the first page quote anywhere between 20 and 100 lira and none of them says where the figure came from. The viewing area above the cliffs at Lower Düden is free.
Is the Museum Pass accepted?
Both guides we checked say it is not. Neither cites a source, so we do not present that as fact. The Museum Pass covers museums and archaeological sites run by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and we could not confirm in any official record which body Düden falls under. Bring cash.
What time does the Düden Waterfall close?
We could not find an officially published timetable. The range the guides give is 08:00 to 19:00 in summer and 08:00 to 18:00 in winter, but that figure also circulates without a source. The viewing area at Lower Düden is open ground and has no closing time.
Do you pay at Lower Düden?
No. Lower Düden is watched from the viewing area on top of the cliff and there is no admission charge. The fee question applies to Upper Düden, where there are turnstiles at the entrance.
